401 Class Goal

Dearest 401,

I believe you must have went through most of your Diagnostic Tests this week and you must have a good sense of where you are good at and where you are lacking. No fear and worries, what is important is not about crying over spilled milk BUT... moving forward... What are you going to do about it. :) Remember all these little tests and assignment will help you to ACE YOUR O LEVELS & GET INTO A COURSE/INSTITUTION of YOUR CHOICE! So, prepare them well.

Something for you to think about for the week

Remember, no one can stop you but you yourself from overcoming any challenges. :)

NOTE:
1) Submit your AUP acknowledgement form by this Friday, 11 Jan.
2) Submit your SL project Parent Consent Form by this Friday, 11 Jan.

Lots of Love,
Ms Karen & Mdm Azizah

  2. I will do my best to focus more on my studies so that I understand my subjects and topics so that I will be able to apply them in any situation. Most importantly, I will stop procrastinating and start to work towards completing work ahead of time instead of last minute as it helps me to revise my work instead of just rushing through and not understanding anything, being of no help to me.

  3. I can make sure that I practice enough to each subject to allow my understanding and exposure to each subject increase, allowing me to be more prepared for the O Levels and giving me a higher chance of scoring better marks.

  5. For today, the least I could do is completing all of my homework way beforehand, even the ones due next week. This would ensure that I have sufficient time to do my revision and other things such as leisure and spending time with family. If I keep things to the last minute, it would also stress me up more, affecting the quality of my work.

  7. I will commit myself to my studies and manage my time wisely so as to be able to improve my disappointing results. I will do my homework seriously and question if I do not understand something. I hope that through hard work and determination, I will do well in my O' Levels and make my parents proud.

  9. What can you do today to bring you one step closer to your goal?

One thing I can do is to properly focus on my work when I do it so that I can complete it much faster and better because through this I can properly evaluate what knowledge I am lacking so as to better improve myself. That said, I will not just concentrate just on work and forget about having an afternoon kit-kat because all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. I can use this rest time to catch up with the real world and interact with people like my family, despite the stress

  11. I will put in a lot more effort to doing what I have to do in order to accomplish my goals(eg. Studying, practicing, handing in homework on time, paying attention during all lessons etc.), as well as kerb my bad habits such as procrastination and laziness, which will affect my studies as well. I will also keep to the timetable I set for myself, in order to keep on top of my studies as well as to keep knowledge needed for the exams fresh in my head. I will also stop doing unproductive things(eg. Playing computer games, surfing the web, using my phone) which will hinder my academics.
